Grad student, MicroBooNE/SBND,
Syracuse University
Hi folks,
My name is Ohana, I am from Brazil, and I am a Ph.D. candidate at Syracuse University working on MicroBooNE and SBND. I’ve been at Fermilab on and off for the past 6 years but never stayed long enough to become an FSPA officer. As this time round I am staying longer, I felt it was finally time for me to contribute to this wonderful community that welcomed me so kindly for many years.
I’ve been also involved in outreach, inclusivity and diversity projects in the past few years and I believe being an FSPA officer will provide me even more opportunities to expand those projects of mine to the Fermilab community. I also believe that, as the diverse and colorful community that Fermilab has, being an FSPA officer will be a huge learning experience for me as it will grant me the opportunity to hear many different voices.
I am looking forward to work for and with you!
