Hello all, my name is Miguel Anastacio Tachito Gutierrez. I am a current student at Waubonsee Community College. I am currently an intern here at Fermilab since the of May. I will be working here full time by mid-September. I have been working with both the office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility as well with ISD with the CFM’s. I have worked in multiple projects here at Fermilab from assisting the site security with the door project, to co-managing a new internship program called the JROTC Valor program. I have always been the kind of person who mentors and helps people out whenever in need. I try to contribute to any cause that I see that may need help like veterans, as I am myself. Going forward with this, I would like to make Fermilab better than it already is. After working with the office of EDIA, I have seen many wonderful things that people do to make the lab more like a helpful community and empowering each other. Previously I was in the Marine Corps, and I did the same kind of impact to my Marines by creating social events, for all of us to bring a comradery, and I would like to do the same here at Fermilab. Change is a great thing, and how the world is changing, people need to know that here at Fermilab you are safe from everything. I would like to contribute as much as I can myself to make sure that Fermilab is a nice and comforting environment. Lastly, I would like to say, thank you for considering me as a FSPA officer.
