Zachary Williams

Grad Student, ProtoDUNE
University of Texas at Arlington

My name is Zachary Williams and I am a graduate student from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am a collaborator on both MicroBooNE and ICARUS at Fermilab. I have been stationed at Fermilab for a little over a year now, and have greatly enjoyed the scientific and social events that the FSPA have put together during my time here. I’m running to be an FSPA Officer so that I can contribute to this great community and help all Fermilab users feel more at home while they’re here. I love how inclusive and diverse this community is, and believe this organization’s effectiveness is a direct result. As an undergraduate, I served as president of my university’s chapter of the Society of Physics Students for two years, where I helped plan and organize group socials, public outreach events, and scientific events.

If I’m elected as a FSPA Officer, I know my past experience would be extremely beneficial for all Fermilab users, as well as enable me to address their needs more efficiently. Thank you for considering me, and I’d love to serve you and enhance your user experience here at Fermilab.
